A large number of competitors turned out for this year

With the sun going down our Ladies took up the reins with Peter Hiscocks in charge again. With some tuff cattle the ladies came thru and in the end Phillis Carlill on Ripple took first place, 2nd Anna Cooper on Silkstone Pidgeon 3rd Angela Drynan on Speck 4th Lisa Wilkes on Cricket 5th Chloe Price on Sophie 6th Kimberley Sammon on Oak So Smart and Kimberley also won the cutout.

With the drafting done for the day there was soon a large gathering around the bar area, with a huge thank you to the Ladies for a lovely roast dinner that was enjoyed by all. DJ, Mick Oberlie was well received by all with many dancing the night away.

The Junior Draft, judged by Greg Marsden, went to Billy Sheppard on Shaikira 2nd Jack England on Barleen , 3rd Mac Sheppard on Shania 4th to Trent Sheppard on Bindi, 5th Georgina Cubis on Spook 6th Kristin Allum on drifter and Highest cutout to Billy Sheppard. Obviously the Sheppard family will have many hotly contested drafts, now all three boys are drafting.

Again Greg Marsden wielded the whip for the Juvenile draft with many good runs being produced first place went to Shaun McKey on Ebony 164 and 2nd place also to Shaun on Rustler 103 3/4th tied with Jess Sammon on Little Dream Duchess and Gus Richards on Acres Chex on 84 5/6/7th going to Erin Winkley on Mallanganee E.S.P, Rebecca Young on JV and Gus Richards on Destinys Quest on an 82 Highest cutout went to Jess Sammon on Little Dream Duchess on a runoff.
